Entertain & Sustain presents the Battle4Music area at Dance4Life Event, 27th of November 2010
The Vodafone Foundation asked us to design and realize a new game to be placed on the Dance4Life Event in Ahoy, Rotterdam on the 27th of November. School kids who raised enough funds for dance4life get a free ticket to the event which has a line-up of several big Dutch artists like Fedde le Grand and Partysquad. With a satellite link the audience is connected to several events in other countries, all with the aim to dance together to tell the world to beat HIV and aids.
Entertain & Sustain presents an area consisting of the Battle4Music game based on the sustainable dance floor (www.sustainabledanceclub.com) and built by Project Helder (www.projecthelder.nl) and a creative workshop. In Battle4Music, the players work together to run through a scenario which builds up the music and the lights, ending in a massive applause when enough energy is generated by the sustainable dance tiles.
The creative workshop motivates the participants to think about how to communicate with the beneficiaries of the dance4life foundation, what kind of technology is needed to make this happen and triggers the kids to tell what they need to realize their ideas.
